Met some friends here for a coffee. Staff friendly and I must say the cakes and pastries looked really delicious but managed to resist. Not much room between tables, you can just manage to get through if people move in. Didn't see any warm food brought out . Was late morning Wednesday when we went in and fairly quiet but my midday as we were leaving the place was full which says a lot. Plenty of tables outside, some under a gazebo but too chilly to sit outside.

Chicken and bacon club sandwich was absolutely amazing! The best one I’ve ever had . Partner said the full English was the best he’s had too. My son’s kids meal came in a little wicker bag looking lunch box, he was over the moon as it reminded him of paddington bears case. Very well priced, great atmosphere & the staff are so well mannered. Thankyou for our lovely food! We will certainly be back.

I've been popping in to the Pantry for a "Café stop" while out on my bike ride for a couple of years now. Its roughly half way so just right. It's a lovely place to sit outside (if the weather is good) and enjoy what I believe to be the best scones you'll find anywhere in the UK. Home made, just sweet enough, lovely light & fluffy in the middle, perfect! The ladies who work there are always very nice, always there for a chat. The café is situated within the heritage centre grounds, tucked away in a sheltered corner. Inside is nice and cosy too. Prices are OK. About £6 for cream tea, you really can't grumble at that. They always have a great selection of other cakes and biscuits etc. If you're in the area or actually visiting the heritage centre I highly recommend taking some time out and go have a brew and a bun at the Pantry

Great coffees and lovely scones. Service is always friendly, and as a regular, Lucy is great at remembering our order. The lunch menu choices always look great too.

Fantastic place to go for a snack or meal. We had hot pork pie and mushy peas delicious The outlet does lovely fresh food and lovely cakes Seat outside with rugs for humans and water for your dog The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff wonderful.

Extremely friendly staff serving. Lots of outdoor seating. Attractive decor. OK prices. Good hot chocolate. My only mini-grumble was that my double egg sandwich eggs were overdone. Part of the unadulterated joy of an egg sandwich is the oozy yokes, but this didn't have that magic. I like my eggs runny, not semi hard boiled. It is sooo disappointing when eggs get overcooked. Still, the rest of the visit was totally fine, nice to have such affable staff.

arrived 12:45pm on saturday, surprised many outside seats were not occupied. the ploughman's lunch was good. other foods were OK. very tasty sausage rolls.
